What we believe about God, His Word and who Jesus Christ is.

We (Daniel and Solveig Kinda) are part of a non-denominational Church in California, and when in Greenland we work with believers of different denominations. Here is a summary of what we believe to be true.

We believe that the Bible is inspired by God in its entirety, and is without error in the original text, a complete and final written revelation from God. (2. Peter 1:19-21)

We believe that there is only one God, who is eternal and unchanging , that manifests Himself in three distinct persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (1. John 4:12-15)

We believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the promised Messiah, born of a virgin (Matthew 1:20-23), totally without sin, God in human flesh, the One who died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose again from the dead on the third day (1. Corinthians 15:3-4), and ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven (Mark 16:19), where He now intercedes for us who believe in Him. (Romans 8:34)

We believe in a spiritual unity of all genuine believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that they are born again by the Holy Spirit, baptized into the body of Christ, the true Church, sealed by the Holy Spirit. (1. Corinthians 12:12-14)

We believe marriage is between a man & woman and that homosexuality as well as adultery or fornication (sex outside of marriage) is a sin requiring repentance for forgiveness. (1 Corinthians 7:2 & 6:9,10 Romans 1:26-32 Leviticus 18:22)

We believe that the devil or satan is real, along with all his fallen angels called demons or evil spirits. (1. Peter 5:8-9)

We believe that all humanity is lost and born with a sinful nature and can only be saved by a personal faith in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:1-5), and not by any human merit or performance. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

We believe that Jesus Christ will return in the clouds for His Church and that He will return with his saints and His holy angels to set up His kingdom on all the earth to rule and reign forever and ever. (Luke 21:25-28)

We believe that heaven is a real place where the saved will dwell forever, and that hell is a real place where satan and his fallen angels as well as unbelievers will suffer forever. (Rev. 20: 11-21:8)

We believe that all believers need to be filled with the Holy Spirit and empowered by Him to live a Godly life and be a true witness for Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 5:15-19)

We believe that the nation of Israel has a special place in God's plan, and that all the promises of God to Israel will be fulfilled.(Romans 11:2-5)

And He said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. (Luke 18:27)
